Key Responsibilities
1. Helicopter Sales & Business Development
• Identify, develop, and execute helicopter sales opportunities across Southern Africa
• Build and manage long-term relationships with operators, buyers, lessors, financiers, and key stakeholders
• Participate in or lead sales meetings, aircraft presentations, and commercial negotiations
2. Pre-Sales & Transaction Execution
• Conduct market and customer analysis (fleet composition, utilization, replacement cycles)
• Prepare and coordinate tailored commercial proposals and sales offers
• Support or manage transaction execution, including Letters of Intent (LOI) and Sale & Purchase Agreements (SPA)
3. Sales Coordination & Internal Interface
• Coordinate closely with internal sales, technical, legal, and finance teams
• Ensure disciplined follow-up, accurate communication, and timely execution of transactions
4. Market Mapping & MRO Intelligence (South Africa Focus)
• Map helicopter fleets, operator structures, and utilization patterns, primarily within South Africa
• Assess existing maintenance practices and local MRO capabilities
• Identify gaps where enhanced support capabilities strengthen Rotortrade’s sales proposition
• Provide structured market intelligence to support future MRO partnerships or development anchored in South Africa
Profile & Experience
You are a commercially driven sales professional with a strong interest in aviation and complex B2B transactions.
Preferred Background:
- Experience in aviation sales (helicopter market exposure is a strong advantage)
- Proven ability to develop and manage client relationships
- Experience working with complex commercial offers and negotiations
Key Attributes:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to operate in international and multicultural environments
- Willingness to travel regularly within Southern Africa
